When Covid struck the world, every company was forced to make the switch to online meetings. Even now the situation has stabilised, companies stick to online meetings for the obvious benefits of saving time and expensive flight tickets. Unfortunately, meetings and especially designing sessions are a big hassle via a small laptop screen. This is where the ARea comes in, keeping the benefits of an online meeting while approximating the interaction of a physical meeting.

What is ARea?

ARea is a multifunctional room that enables and improves collaborating on a distance, for this AR technology is combined with our designed touchscreen table and office space. The Hololens is used to give the user the experience of collaboration with other users on the other side of the world as if they would be in the room. You can see and hear your colleagues and there will be no confusion about what your colleagues mean because they can simply point to it.

Furthermore ARea expands the collaboration experience, with the use of holograms users can watch and design CAD models in real time together. Furthermore they can share files, watch movies and take pictures and recordings.

With our Hololenses you will be able to see and hear your colleagues from the other side of the world as if they are standing right next to you. There will be no confusion anymore about what your colleagues mean because they can simply point to it.

Sharing files from a distance is no problem either. When you connect to the other room a shared server will automatically be made where files can be uploaded to. All the changes made in documents or files will be directly changed in the uploaded files, so that everyone has up to date information after every meeting. And writing a file is easy as you can just write text down by saying it and our room will automatically convert it to text in your document.
